New Delhi, October 18, 2020: The "Faith, confidence and acceptability cannot be commanded, they have to be earned," and the strength of judiciary is the faith of the people in it, says Justice N.V. Ramana, the senior most judge in the Supreme Court, on Saturday. In a condolence meeting held in the memory of former Supreme Court judge, Justice A. R. Lakshmanan, by the Madras Bar Association virtually, Justice Ramana said in the virtual meeting that "It is an important quality for a judge to withstand all pressures and odds and to stand up bravely against all obstacles...
